“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ~ Jeremiah 29:11
This is one of my favorite Bible verses. I even have it hanging on my refrigerator so that it’s the first thing I read in the morning. It really helps start my day on a positive note. I wake up praising and thanking the Lord for I know that He has a plan for my life. This is powerful and important.
Giving up your way is not always easy. People may come in and out of your life and you wonder what is wrong with you or why does it just seem to tough? Well, there is an answer. God puts people in your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. And just when you think they’re there for a lifetime their season comes to an end.
Trials are the same way. We go through them hopefully for only a reason or a season, but sometimes they seem to follow us everywhere we go. I encourage you to pray about whatever it is that you need help with and trust that God will make it better. When we release our ways and let Him work, things happen that we never could have imagined in our wildest dreams. And remember that your tests become part of your testimony. Praise Him for the big and the small!
